Capital Campaign
This page is for coordinating activities of the Capital Campaign. (currently planned from 2021 through 2024)
Please join us for one of our coming meetings, they should be visible on our calendar(s).
Please contact volunteers@powellhouse.org for links or any other questions.
---
We have a group of volunteers and welcome more. Everyone is asked to commit a few hours a month to help raise money for needs identified in the strategic plan and outlined in campaign materials. (specific projects and long term financial stability)
The intent is to spread the load over people and time, with no long term commitment.
Our current activities include:
30 to 60 minute meetings (by Zoom) every two to four weeks for coordinating the campaign activities
preparing lists, materials, and volunteers for soliciting donations
approaching prospective donors (individuals, meetings, etc.)
At this time, please:
review documents linked below and consider your interest (there are many roles!) and availability (there are no terms, and a few hours a month is the requested participation)
identify your own "Why?" and how you connect to Powell House
ABANDONED: join poho-volunteers.slack.com to participate in conversations there
submit your name and email to volunteers@powellhouse.org, to learn more and be informed about coming meetings
encourage others to volunteer by inviting them to the next campaign meeting and sending their name and email address to volunteers@powellhouse.org
submit prospective donors, including ideas for solicitation and who knows them well, using the form for this purpose or sending to volunteers@powellhouse.org
