Our Room Parents are a key connector between your teacher and classroom families. The role is simple, appreciated, and makes a big difference in creating a joyful, well-supported learning environment.

🧩 What Does a Room Parent Do?

• Share Teacher Requests  

• Help communicate classroom needs—like tissues, snacks, or supplies—by passing along occasional requests from the teacher to families.

• Organize Volunteers & Donations  

• Send friendly emails to help coordinate volunteers or donations for class events, parties, or special projects.

• Coordinate Class Gifts  

• Help organize a small group gift for the teacher during the holidays and at the end of the year. We’ll provide easy templates and ideas!

• Promote PTO Events  

• Help get the word out about upcoming volunteer opportunities and special events hosted by the PTO.

✉️ How Often Will Teachers Be Contacting Families?

• Typically once a month or less, depending on classroom needs and upcoming events.  

• We’ll help you keep messages short, clear, and upbeat!

🎉 What Support Will I Get?

• Access to parent email lists  

• Gift ideas and contribution tools  

• A contact person from the PTO or school staff for any questions
