Get ready for a night of music, laughter, and unforgettable moments at the Potter Road Sweetheart Dance! Dress in your festive best and join us for an evening of dancing and celebration with friends and family.
Who: All Potter Road students and their families
When: Friday, February 27, 2026, 6:30–8 PM
Where: Potter Road School
Tickets: $5 per person (as well as adult)
Important: An adult must attend with each child—this is not a drop‑off event.
Snacks will be available for purchase.
Tickets are limited and must be purchased in advance here . We can’t wait to see you on the dance floor.
A Chill Zone will also be available in the gym, offering tattoos, crafts, and other quiet activities for anyone who needs a break from the music and dancing.
For children sensitive to noise, earplugs can be helpful to have handy!

Festa Junina is one of Brazil’s most beloved cultural celebrations — a vibrant festival filled with music, dancing, traditional foods, colorful decorations, and joyful community spirit. Rooted in rural traditions and honoring the harvest season, Festa Junina brings families together through lively quadrilha dancing, festive costumes, playful games, and delicious treats like milho verde, paçoca, and pé‑de‑moleque. It’s a time to celebrate culture, connection, and the simple joy of being together.

Our entire school will celebrate the festival Carnval. Please have your students come to school in costume. (school appropriate of course). In the afternoon, weather permitting, we'll have a small parade outside.
