About Your P.E. Teachers

Hi and welcome to our P.E. website! We are so happy you made time out of your busy schedule to come and check us out. We are excited to be working with your children, as they brighten our day. As your P.E. teachers, we strive to always have your child's best interests at heart. Each day we want them to leave our gym feeling a sense of accomplishment and confidence!

Jamie Florindi

My name is Jamie Florindi and I’ve been working at Edison for 6 years. I also coach JV Girls Volleyball and Softball at Port Chester High School and I am the Girls Assistant Varsity Basketball Coach. Edison is a great place to work and I love all the teachers and students that are at this school. Throughout the school year we put together many fun events for our students such as the Tiny Turkey Trot, Kid’s Heart Challenge, and Fun Day just to name a few. We cover all different sports in our physical education classes which include soccer, floor hockey, basketball, volleyball, and baseball/softball. We also play fun games together such as Ghostbusters (a fan favorite), Battlefield, and Castle Ball. Physical Education is where our students can learn about adopting a healthy lifestyle and how they can accomplish that. I love teaching here at Edison and if you see me anywhere around town make sure you say hello!

Jenna Lividini

I grew up in Ossining, NY, where I played basketball and softball at a competitive level. While attending Ossining High School, I was fortunate enough to win two state championships in basketball. After graduating high school, I played basketball at the collegiate level at SUNY Brockport. At Brockport I received a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. After graduating college, I went on to achieve a Master's of Sports Pedagogy and Physical Education at Manhattanville College.

In addition to teaching, I coach three sports within the Port Chester-Rye School District: volleyball, basketball, and softball. Hopefully in a few years' time, I will have the opportunity to coach your child at the high school level. When I'm not teaching or coaching, I love the the outdoors. I enjoy hiking and traveling. I'm also a huge football fan!
