The University’s student Sports Clubs are known as ‘Team UoP’, representing the University of Portsmouth’s sporting and physical activity. Team UoP complies with all current University of Portsmouth guidelines, regulations and policies, along with sports National Governing Bodies (NGB) and BUCS (British University and College Sport) guidelines, regulations and policies.
Team UoP staff members are aware of the responsibilities they hold as representatives, they work to:
Deliver a broad range of inclusive and engaging sporting activities
Empower students to sustain regular sporting activities and personal development opportunities
Create opportunities for our students to reach their full potential and achieve their personal best
Build a sense of belonging and pride through sport, creating a community and culture of Portsmouth for life
Team UoP staff are based upstairs in Spinnaker Sports Centre, Cambridge Road, PO1 2ER (opposite the Students' Union).
