Safe sport encompasses the safety and welfare of all students in sport through inclusive practices and celebrating diversity. It covers health and safety, mental and physical wellbeing and encouraging students to recognise and the positivity that inclusivity has on boosting the overall student experience.
Sport and Recreation support all students who participate within our sport clubs and that extends to concussion and injury management. It is key that all injuries sustained during training, fixtures and all club related activities are accurately reported to ensure that the injured individual has the best possible support in returning back to their academics, daily activity and their sport.
We understand that the injury can affect more than your ability to play and we encourage you to reach out for support.
