The starting point for both the written route and professional conversation is attendance at an APEX orientation event. Orientation events run every two months to provide an overview of the APEX programme and to guide colleagues to the appropriate pathway for Fellowship. They provide an introduction to the UKPSF and detail the written and professional conversation routes to Fellowship.
If you are planning on attending an event it would be beneficial to have read the Guide to PSF beforehand, and also identified what category of Fellowship best reflects your current level of professional practice by using the AdvanceHE Category Tool.
It is advised that following the orientation event you immediately complete and submit your registration form and indicate which pathway to fellowship you wish to follow.
Once you have attended an orientation event you are then required to attend a micro-clinic.
