1. What is energy?
Energy is the ability to do work and cause change in matter.

Kinetic energy - energy of motion
Potential energy - stored energy
3. Some types of energy are:
sound energy
light energy
heat energy/thermal energy
Mechanical energy
electrical energy,
-You should be able to provide examples for the different types of energy and be able to explain what they are in your own words. There are examples of glued in your copybook.
4. Sound energy and light energy both travel in waves
5. Movement of energy from place to place or from one object to another is known as energy transfer. Students have examples and pictures of energy transfer in their copybook.
