Welcome to 4-1! 

Reminders for 4th Grade: 

• On the first day of school you should bring your bookbag, lunchbox, a snack, and a water bottle. There is no hot lunch during the first week!

• All school supplies will be given out in school. This includes pencils, coloring supplies, copybooks, scissors, glue, highlighters, etc. 

• Please send a note or email letting me know how your child will be getting home from school. (This one is extremely important to help make sure that all students get home safely on their first day of school!)

• Please do not forget to buy clear contact paper to cover copybooks and workbooks.

• Please put names on all student's belongings (lunchboxes, water bottles, gym sweatshirts, sweaters, jackets worn to school etc.)

• Please bring all summer reading and math packets by Friday, September 5th (you can also bring them in earlier). All assignments are available at the following website: https://popejohnpaul2sch.org/summer-assignments. Hopefully all students have already started these assignments during the summer!  

• During the first weeks of school your child will need to bring in an old t-shirt to wear to art class, and an eraser (or something that can be used as an eraser such as an old sock or piece of fabric) that can be used on our individual whiteboards when we use them during class
