Preparing for Exams

Preparing for Mid-Term & Final Exams

Some Helpful Hints

1. Get plenty of rest!

2. Eat right—try popcorn and unsalted pretzels instead of candy!

3. Avoid too much caffeine! Try not to drink any coffee or tea, or colas after 3 p.m.

4. Drink water or mix seltzer and fruit juices instead of sodas.

5. Join or create a study group to help with difficult classes.

6. Don’t wait to study until the last minute—go over your notes and review your assignments—it’s also a great way to see if you are missing anything!

7. Ask for help from your teachers or librarian, but again don’t wait until the last minute!

8. Cut down on computer and television time and try reading the daily newspaper instead.

9. Be prepared for the exams—bring pencils, pens, erasers and whatever else your teacher’s requires.

10. Don’t panic!!
