Adjectives
Goal: Students will learn about adjectives. Students will understand what an adjective is, how to use them to describe things, and locate them in sentences.
You are about to watch several videos about ADJECTIVES. The videos will explain what an adjective is, different examples of adjectives, and identifying adjectives in sentences. I have split these lessons up into days.
At the end of each days lesson is an assessment. Assessments can be found at school or on Google Docs.
Day 1: What is an adjective?
Engagement questions:

- What does it help describe?
- Describe a few nouns around you

Questions to ask after:
- What does an adjective describe?
- Use adjectives to describe how your feeling
- Describe your family members

Day 3: Adjectives and Nouns in sentences
Questions for engagement:
- Have your child identify nouns and adjectives in a few sentences
- Give your child different adjectives and nouns have them say NOUN or ADJECTIVE
- Play I-spy
