Year 9 Options Evening 

You and your parents will have an opportunity to attend the Year 9 options evening on Thursday 7 March (5.30-7.30pm). At this event you will get the opportunity to hear presentations on the different option subjects. You will also be able to speak to the Subject Leader for each options subject.

Year 9 Parents Evening 

The Year 9 parents evening also offers the opportunity for students and parents to speak to teachers about option choices for Year 10, particularly when they are currently studying the subject in Year 9 e.g. Humanities, Technology and Languages.

1.    Thursday 14 March (4.15 - 6.30pm) for students in the following tutor groups 

a)    Mr Doig, Ms Emmerson, Miss Naylor, Mr Brown, Mrs Fraser

      or

2.    Wednesday 20 March (4.15 - 6.30pm) for students in the following tutor groups 

b)     Mr Shone, Mrs Close-Ash, Mrs Carr, Mrs Rutherford, Mr Symons

1-2-1 Interview Offer

During the Spring term Y9 students will be offered the opportunity to meet with our Careers Advisor (Mrs Bowring) to discuss Post-16  routes and future careers. Students will also be offered the opportunity to meet with a Senior member of staff to discuss KS4 subjects. These interviews will commence following the Year 9 Options Evening.

Optional Talks 

Business Studies, Media Studies, Dance and Drama  will be running subject talks during AM registration in the Lecture Theatre during March. Dates will be advertised to students.
