student supports
Welcome to poly's integrated student supports!
Polytechnic High School is committed to the academic, physical, and mental well-being of our students. With lower counselor to student ratios than most high schools in LAUSD, Poly provides each student with a more personalized educational experience. We also know that in order for our students to achieve academically, their physical and mental well-being comes first. That is why we provide our students and their families with both on- and off-campus wellness services. Please see below for detailed descriptions about how our knowledgeable and experienced staff and partnerships can help your family thrive.

special education support team
The Special Education Program at Poly High School is grounded in the belief that all students can learn. A specific program is designed for every student with a disability, and a particular disability category does not automatically qualify a student for a program placement. We strive to increase rigor and build capacity and confidence of students as they progress through grades. All students have access to all academic programs, athletics, and activities. Our services and programs have been designed to meet a variety of students’ educational and social-emotional needs (from www.polyhigh.org). For more detailed information about our Special Education program, please head to our Special Education page on www.polyhigh.org.
