I earned my Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree from Jacksonville State University. In 2017 I got my Bachelor's Degree in Integrated Studies. In 2020 I completed my Master's Degree in Elementary Education. This is my second year at Cherokee and the 2025-2026 school year will be my fifth year of teaching. I have taught 3rd grade, 5th and 6th grade, and was an EIP teacher.
I was born and raised in Alabama. In 2019 I married my beautiful wife, Heather. She is from Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. I met her at Bible Camp in Ringgold, Georgia. We have a daughter who was born April 2023. I enjoy being in the outdoors; hunting, fishing, swimming, kayaking, and hiking are just a few of my favorite hobbies. I have several dogs and I enjoy playing with and raising them. I really enjoy animals and I have recently acquired a couple of ducks and a billy goat that demands attention. I'm a very outgoing and fun person and I'm glad to be at Cherokee Elementary. I am very excited to be in 2nd grade this year. I look forward to growing with my colleagues and helping to teach these students.
