The PEF hosts a back-to-school event where families can catch up with friends, meet each other for the first time, and celebrate the beginning of the school year.

The 2022 Family Social was held in the school parking lot with ice cream, face painting and games!

The PEF provides stipends to teachers for extra supplies, equipment, and project materials needed in their classrooms.

In 2022, the PEF provided each classroom teacher with $500 and each specials teacher with $250.

The PEF organizes school pictures in the fall each year.

The 2022 school pictures were held in November with CLIX New England.  20% of the sales proceeds of picture packets went back to the school!  

Parents need their "school friends", too! The PEF hosts evenings out for parents at local establishments, allowing parents meet outside of the school setting.  The evenings are entirely social with the goal of providing a space where parents can get to know each other.  The PEF provides food and drink.

During 2022 - 2023 scbool year, fall and spring Parent Nights were held at the To Share Brewing Company in Manchester. 

The PEF organized a committee to (finally!) install playground equipment in the school yard and launched a community fundraiser to help off-set costs.

Working with Premier Park and Play (a NE playground design company) and our generous Board of Trustees, we cleaned up the school yard, improved drainage, and designed and purchased equipment, new borders and bark that will be installed the summer of 2023.

The PEF organizes and provides financial assistance to families for the McIntyre Ski Area After School program.  

In 2022-2023, the PEF enrolled 28 students in the program and provided bussing to the ski area from the school on Wednesday afternoons. 

The PEF sponsors an all-school family dance in the spring that celebrates the school community and those special people students consider their "North Star".

The 2023 dance theme was ":An Evening Under the Stars" and was held in The Founder's Academy gymnasium.  Families dressed to impress and partook in dance mayhem, refreshments and socializing!

The PEF sponsors a catered lunch for staff and provides each classroom with funds for parents to use to gift teachers something special during Teacher Appreciation Week.

In 2023, the PEF we appreciated our teachers in May with a special lunch catered by Puritan Backroom!

Each classroom has Polaris T-Shirts that students wear on field trips and field day.  These shirts help teachers and chaperones keep track of students!  Each classroom has their own color.

In 2023, the PEF was able to purchase 140 new shirts for the classrooms!

The PEF sponsors Field Day at the end of the school year.  

In 2023, Field Day was held at Camp Carpenter in Manchester.  The days events included field games, line dancing and Capture the Flag, capped off with a popsicle at the end of the day!

The PEF provides funding for class field trips throughout the school year.  Funds go toward admission prices, fees, bussing and other costs associated with the trips.

During the 2022-2023 school year, classrooms hiked on Pine Mountain, met the Mayor at Manchester City Hall, got to know new creatures with Wild Life Animal Encounters, explored the SEE Science Center and the Montshire Museum of Science, and enjoyed a performance by the Tiger Group theater ensemble!
