The Polaris Educational Foundation is the 

Parent Group/PTO for Polaris Charter School. The Foundation’s purpose is to support Polaris Charter School, an innovative public charter school in Manchester, NH.

The current leadership of the PEF is aging out of Polaris!  Help to preserve the work of the PEF by joining leadership. Without full PEF leadership, Polaris students and families will not have these things next year:

• field trips

• enrichment

• classroom supplies

• family and all-school events

• field day

• school pictures

• playground equipment/toys

• book fair

Elections will be held for all positions at the monthly PEF meeting on May 20th.  Critically needed positions are: Vice President, Treasurer, Enrichment Coordinator.

The Polaris Educational Foundation (the PTO of Polaris Charter School) will again be awarding “Polaris Star” scholarships to 5th graders to recognize outstanding performance at Polaris Charter School. The number of scholarships awarded and the financial gift amount for each award will be determined after all applications have been received. Applications and essays will be reviewed by the Mayor of Manchester and staff.

To be eligible for the scholarship, the student must currently be enrolled as a 5th grader at Polaris Charter School, must complete the 2025 - 2026 school year at Polaris, and must be moving on to a middle school for the next school year.  All students meeting the eligibility requirements are encouraged to apply!

To apply for the scholarship, students must turn in the scholarship application form and a written essay to their teachers no later than Friday, May 22.  Applications received after May 22 will not be considered. Help is available for students who request it from Mrs. Alvarez.

All parents are invited to join students for Field Day on June 5th.  This all-day event is held at Camp Carpenter in Manchester.  Students will particpate in games, dancing, free time in the fort and have a cold treat at the end of the day!
