Monthly Meetings

NEXT MEETING:  Wednesday, May 22 at 7 p.m.  This will be a hybrid in-person & virtual meeting. Snacks!!

We are hoping to find teens, young adults, or a parent who can chaperone kids on the playground during the meeting. Email pefpresident@polarischarterschool.org.

Once your child is enrolled in Polaris, you are considered a member of the PEF and are welcome to join all meetings and fill vacant board positions, even if your child has not started school yet.

The Polaris Educational Foundation meets monthly on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from September through May.  Agendas for the meeting are communicated in advance.  Meetings are currently held online and last approximately 1 hour.  We strongly encourage all parents to participate in meetings through the year. The meeting process is an important way to stay connected with the school and other parents.

A message from the President:

Spring is here and we are in the final weeks of school already!  

Spirit Wear is now available.  Orders must be received by April 4.  Another order will be made in the fall.

We are excited to host our first ever Family Movie Night on April 6th at Chunkys Cinema in Manchester.  We hope that families will get a chance to eat, socialize and enjoy the 1979 classic The Muppet Movie!  The PEF will provide 1 drink and popcorn.  Additional food is available for purchase.  Please RSVP by April 1st so we can let Chunky's know how many we will be for staffing reasons.

Don't forget that the first week of May is Teacher Appreciation week.  Our teachers do an outstanding job and we want to make sure they are honored!

We are hosting our annual spring dance on June 1st.  The theme is Beach Bash.  All students and parents are welcome.  Food and fun for all! Additions for this year are face painting, and MC for the dances, and photo opportunities.  Parent volunteers needed!

Field day is being planned and the date is set for Friday, June 7 (with alternate date of Tuesday, June 14) at Camp Carpenter in Manchester. Parent volunteers are needed!  This is a fun end-of-year event that most parents enjoy spending with the students.
