Feedback culture is essential to our organization because it fosters continuous improvement, promotes open communication, and aligns everyone with our mission and values.
Through regular feedback, we can identify strengths, areas for growth, and clarify expectations.
9box Talent Review
9box is Point’s tool used to evaluate employee performance and potential. This exercise helps stakeholders to visualize an employee's effectiveness in their current role and likelihood for success in future roles. It encompasses two axes:
A performance axis, an assessment of an individual's work and execution of the responsibilities of their current position
A potential axis, which predicts future performance based on a person’s willingness and ability to take on new challenges and responsibilities
9box is conducted annually and is viewed as one of Point's primary tools for talent development.
Point's All Hands meetings occur every other week at 1:00 pm PST, providing a comprehensive overview of the company's progress, initiatives, and achievements. These gatherings serve as a pivotal communication platform, bringing together team members from all departments and levels within the organization.
Point’s Peer to Peer program is part of a concerted effort to do everything we can to enrich the employee experience. Peer to Peer allows us to show public appreciation as well as send gifts of gratitude to our colleagues.
#shout-outs is a channel in Slack where colleagues can give members from other teams public recognition or praise for their accomplishments or contributions using a feedback tool called Lattice (below). It is a way of showing appreciation and support for their hard work and efforts.
The Feedback tool allows managers and direct reports to provide, request, and view feedback on an ongoing basis. This consistent feedback aims to empower employee development as well as inform managers on how to best support the members of their team.
