De Minimis Benefits

De minimis are tax-exempt benefits provided to employees to enhance their welfare and cover specific incidental expenses. These benefits include allowances for uniforms, rice subsidies, and medical cash allowances. They are not subject to income tax as long as they remain within the government's prescribed limits.  Amounts exceeding these limits are treated as taxable income.

Paid Time Off

In alignment with the Philippine Labor Code, Point provides eligible employees with Paid Time Off (PTO), which can be used for vacation and sick leave. PTO is accrued monthly, with an annual increase in accrual based on tenure:

Additional PTO guidelines include the ability to carry over up to five days into the following year (to be used by March 30) and a requirement for a doctor’s note for absences longer than three consecutive days.
