The Career and Technical Education (CTE) endorsement is a New York State Education Department seal on your diploma. This seal indicates that you have completed coursework in a a state approved CTE pathway.
Approved programs offer an opportunity for students to:
Earn an industry-recognized credential
Prepare for industry-based assessments or certifications
Earn college credit while still in high school
Take advantage of work-based learning opportunities where students demonstrate mastery of skills essential in the workplace
