I believe a teacher is the most powerful role model. I believe that education consists of more people in the learning process apart from students and teachers and that it reaches far beyond the classroom walls. I believed that a good teacher knows and respects his or her students, as well as how they develop and learn. I'm aware that students consciously build and turn their own knowledge based on previous learning and experiences. I understand that not all students learn in the same way or at the same rate.
As a facilitator of learning, I feel it is my duty to diagnose and improve students' desires, skills, and prior knowledge. Training isn't something that can be calculated with exams or report cards; rather, it is something that people bring with them throughout their lives. A believed that a good teacher must be informed about her subjects and how to help students understand them.
I believed that a good teacher must have a comprehensive understanding of how knowledge is produced in the discipline, structured, and connected to other disciplines. I use my knowledge of the discipline to introduce critical thinking to my students, enabling them to interpret, apply, synthesize, and evaluate content.
