My name is Michaela Joyce S. Castro, I am now a 21-year-old. I was born in Navotas City but now I am currently residing in Malabon City. I can say that I’m an aspiring elementary teacher. I am currently taking my undergraduate degree at the Philippine Normal University which we all known as the National Center for Teacher Education. Back when I was elementary I graduated from Malabon Elementary School that can be located in the City of Malabon. I also graduated from a science high school in Malabon. I took the academic track- Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) when I was in my Senior High School at the University of the East-Caloocan. I can say that my track in Senior High is aligned with what I am taking now. I am now enrolled in the course Bachelor of Mathematics and Science in Elementary Education.
Last 2015 when I was in high school I became the Supreme Student Government President and became the Division Federation Supreme Student Government Vice President. In my senior high school. I actively participated in a different organization that is aligned with my track. Now in college, I am participating in our course organization the Society of Teachers in Elementary Mathematics and Science- PNU Manila.
I can say that one of my skills is being able to lead and to follow. I believe that a good leader should know how to be a good follower first. It’s not always about leading but it’s about being a good role model especially to the youth. As an aspiring elementary teacher, I will do my best to mold my student characteristic first and teach them how to value and how to respect others.
