My Insight/Reflection:
In this lesson, I've learned that when a teacher has to teach two or more primary school student grades in the same class, this is known as multigrade teaching. Multigrade teaching is a more general concept that refers to the instruction of students of various ages, grades, and abilities in the same group. In different countries, the multigrade class system is referred to as "composite" or "combination" classes, "double" or "split" classes, "mixed-age" classes, "vertically grouped" classes, "multiple classes," "family classes," or "multilevel classes." In multigrade schools, a limited number of teachers attempt to be successful in their educational work when coping with a range of issues. As a result, in order for children to learn successfully in multigrade settings, teachers must be well-trained, well-resourced, and capable of meeting highly challenging teaching assignments, as well as have a positive attitude toward multigrade teaching.
