This course equips students with the essential knowledge and skills to make informed financial decisions throughout their lives. Students learn how to budget effectively, manage checking and savings accounts, understand credit and debt, evaluate loans, and develop smart spending habits. The course also introduces concepts such as investing, taxes, insurance, and long-term financial planning. Through real-world simulations and hands-on activities, students practice making responsible choices about earning, spending, and saving. By the end of the course, students will be prepared to navigate personal financial responsibilities with confidence and build a strong foundation for future financial independence.
This elective course satisfies the Personal Finance graduation requirement.
