We encourage all children to complete the challenges on the Home Learning Grid throughout the term. Crew coins can be earned and there is a good chance of featuring in the blog and have work displayed around school.
In addition to the grid that is linked to our expedition, there is also the various online learning platforms that children can access for maths and English.
And of course, we always love to see what the children create for themselves at home too!

We enjoyed a Royal Picnic to celebrate the King's Coronation
Expert Visitors
Taking place on our school field, Alfresco Learning designed a workshop especifically for our Key Stage One children. The children experienced the joy of launching their own rockets, putting into context the details of Mae Jemison’s journey to space. They drew constellations on the playground and enjoyed a game of Space Tig.
The children enjoyed a visit to Sandall Beat Woods where they enjoyed the hands on adventure of outdoor leanrning. The children enjoyed making castles from natural materials, making natural crowns, orienteering and cooking some delicious campfire food.
