Comic Artist
My love for comics grew from 3 primary places: my brother's collection of Marvel, grocery store comic stands filled with Archie digests, and the daily newspaper comic strip section. I fused these influences with my love for anime and manga which make up my style today. I honor what I bring into the fabric of contemporary comic literature: the importance of my story as a girl who grew up on a small island with very big dreams.
My comics are collaborative, cultural, and build culture. I am proficient in making, teaching, and selling comics. I've met many artists that are told there's no money in art. I change that conversation with teaching fundamentals of the craft, self advocacy, and the skill to support others' works.

Comic Zines by Students
Every semester at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, I love to usher in new comics talent in my course. Mid term and Final Project zines are an anthology of their work based off the best pitch in their class.
Since 2019, it's an annual publication the campus community looks forward to.
