Game On! Dive into 2025 National Games

Join us in welcoming the 2025 National Games, a historic moment as Hong Kong proudly cohosts this prestigious national event for the first time! During our morning assembly on October 14, 2025, Hami Lui from 6A and Chloe Cheung from 6C shared exciting insights about the torch lighting ceremony, the events hosted by Hong Kong, and the unique game of boccia for athletes with disabilities.

21st Century Cup - Outstanding Performance in English Public Speaking!

Samuel Man, Jayden Lam and Ella Wong (left to right) each composed and delivered a compelling speech to define what a happy family is. 

Samuel spoke about the love he felt at The Dining Table. Jayden compared his mum to a Superwoman while Ella convinced us that Family is Everything.

They all advanced to the Hong Kong District Round. Ella and Samuel both secured Second Prizes, while Jayden was awarded the Third Prize. We are incredibly proud of their achievements!

Radio Recording Session with RTHK Radio 3

On January 21, 2025, three talented CKT kids had an unforgettable experience recording “The Open Space” segment of “In the Common Room” on RTHK Radio 3! 

Radio host Cruz warmly welcomed Paco Fung, Justin Wong, and Hami Lui as they discussed “Amazing Animals.” They shared fascinating insights from their research on animal migrations and had a wonderful time exchanging fun facts and jokes.

English Study Tour to Australia (13th - 21st July, 2024)

We are thrilled to offer an English Study Tour to Brisbane, Australia, providing our students with the chance to enhance their fluency and explore new cultural horizons.

Catwalk through Ancient Greece

The bi-annual fashion catwalk event is a highly anticipated tradition at CKT. Our students had a memorable experience serving as English emcees, guiding the audience through a captivating fashion event while showcasing their English proficiency.

English Games Week

We are beyond excited to share the highlights from our English Games Week! Our students not only had fun while practising English, but also discovered the joy of serving their peers! Together, they transformed our covered playground into a bustling enchanted wonderland, brimming with laughter and English spirit!

Tourist Survey

With the revival of tourism after COVID, our P. 6 students took to Tsim Sha Tsui to conduct a survey on tourism in Hong Kong. They discovered what tourists love about our city and explored ways Hong Kong can enhance its tourism experience. Let’s work together to improve Hong Kong’s tourist industry. 

Chinese New Year Activities

CKT is buzzing with excitement as Chinese New Year approaches! We practise English and embrace our Chinese identity while exploring about the Chinese zodiac and discovering the traditions associated with festive foods and decorations. 

Christmas Celebration

Our students had a memorable experience participating in our Christmas Fun Events. We sang the famous Christmas song, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. We had a fun Christmas-themed vocabulary learning game and a super exciting tongue-twister competition. Each class had their own Christmas tree to decorate. They won decorations for correct answers and for great behaviour. The teams with most decorated trees won bigger prizes. We also had a lucky-draw. Many students were very lucky and won Christmas presents. We had a wonderful festive experience.

Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival

Cross Disciplinary Production

CKT kids are very enthusiastic when it comes to video making. We are exploring different opportunities for them to use English meaningfully through the digital media. 

Rainbow Relaxation Voice-Over Project

We are excited to share two mindfulness videos narrated by CKT kids! 

The project aims to create a calm and English-rich environment in our school. It also promotes the use of English in an enjoyable and meaningful way, empowering students to develop a love of English that benefits their well-being as well.

We were delighted by the warm response to our invitation at Christmas 2023, receiving 45 audition clips. After careful review, 24 kids were invited to participate in the recording sessions in January. And here we present their final outcomes. 

These videos will now be played on Tuesday and Friday mornings, helping CKT kids start their day with a peaceful breathing exercise. We are incredibly proud of all the children involved for their wonderful contributions in bringing this project to life.
