AVID at Hart
What is AVID?
Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) is a nonprofit college-readiness program designed to help students develop the skills they need to be successful in college. The program places special emphasis on growing writing, critical thinking, teamwork, organization and reading skills. AVID is a good fit for students who are "in the middle" academically and who are the first of their family to go to college.
