HART Organizer, Promotion, and Citizenship Covers' Design Art Contest
Now is your chance to make your mark at Hart Middle School!
6th and 7th grades - Organizer Cover Design
Artwork entries may be hand-drawn artwork or digital art.
Students can submit more than one entry!

Specific Contest Requirements:
Original Artwork
AI-generated images cannot be used in the art contest. However, you may submit digital artwork that you create yourself using any digital drawing app, such as Pixlr, Adobe Illustrator, Procreate, or similar programs.
Digital artwork must be in JPG format and at least 300 dpi resolution.
For freehand artwork, we will scan the original for you.
Organizer Cover Must fit on 8.5" x 5" paper in portrait orientation (use template guideline), full-color
All artwork must incorporate the PRIDE word (above).
The year should appear somewhere in your design. 2026-2027
If you want credit on your artwork, you can put your name in the design (or, you can use your initials or just your first name if you wish.) It is not required to include your name in the cover design.
Student name and ID number on the back of the artwork. If it's digital, add your ful name and ID number in the file document.
Students can submit more than one entry.

8th grade - Promotion/Citizenship Cover Designs
The first prize of this contest will have their artwork printed in the 2026 Promotion Cover. The second prize will have their design printed on the Citizenship Award cover.
The winners will also receive a Jumbo Pencil Prize from Mrs.Suassuna!

Artwork must be full-color.
Include the following text in your design:

The design should align with the theme: The power of Unity and represent graduation.
Optional: If you'd like credit on your artwork, you can include your name, initials, or just your first name. It’s not required to include your name in the cover design.
Include your student name and ID number on the back of the artwork.
Submission process:
Hand in your original paper submission to Mrs. Suassuna or send me a file of your digital artwork by email (tsuassuna-brandao@pleasantonusd.net.)
Students may submit multiple entries.
The deadline for submissions is March 27th, 2025, at 3:00 PM.
