Emphasizing YOUTH: The Library turns into a destination, not just for story time and books but also for passive play experiences, hands-on experimentation, study time, and socialization. The spaces grow with our younger patrons and adapt to their changing needs.
Patron ENGAGEMENT: Inclusivity, digital resources, and environmental responsibility are the strategic themes.
Adaptable SPACE: Functionality is key. YES incorporates practical workspaces, comfortable and adaptable furniture, an approachable circulation desk, and improved outdoor accommodations, all constructed of environmentally friendly materials.
We are thrilled to announce that the Plainsboro Library third floor renovation is completed. The much-anticipated Youth Engagement Space, affectionately known as The YES Project is now open! After six months of extensive renovations, we have unveiled this dynamic new area designed to inspire and engage our young patrons.
The launch was attended by Mayor Cantu and NJ State Senator Linda Greenstein. The overwhelming support from our community and generous contributions from corporate donors have made this project a reality, and we can't wait to share it with you.
We invite you to come and explore. This video of the ribbon cutting also provides a glimpse of what awaits as a truly unique experience. The YES Project brings renewed imagination and curiosity to the library third floor.
Your enthusiasm and patience have been instrumental in bringing this project to life, and we look forward to celebrating year round with all our friends and supporters. Pick a date and mark your calendars as you prepare for an unforgettable day of discovery and fun at the Plainsboro Public Library!
Thank you for your continued support.
