Through our Adopt-a-Book Program, you have the opportunity to support literacy, access to knowledge, and lifelong learning by adopting existing books, Launchpads, or shelves in our collection. Your gift helps grow and sustain a diverse, vibrant library for the whole community. Whether honoring someone special, celebrating a milestone, or sharing your love for learning, leave a lasting legacy!

Choose from the following donation levels:

• 📗 Adopt One Book - $30

  • Includes a bookplate: “This book was generously adopted by [Your Name].”

    • Optional dedication in honor or memory of someone.

  • Recognition in our Annual Report

• 📘 Adopt Five Books - $100

  • Includes a bookplate: “This book was generously adopted by [Your Name].”

    • Optional dedication in honor or memory of someone.

  • Recognition in our Annual Report

  • Social Media shoutout.

• 📱 Adopt a Launchpad - $300

  • Great for STEM lovers!

  • Includes a bookplate: “This Launchpad was generously adopted by [Your Name].”

    • Optional dedication in honor or memory of someone.

  • Recognition as a “Technology Builder” in our Annual Report

  • Social media shoutout

  • Webpage feature.

• 📚 Adopt a Shelf (5-Year Sponsorship) - $1,000

  • Great for individuals, family philanthropy, and businesses!

  • Adoption plaque on a shelf of your choice (valid for 5 years from date of donation)

    • Optional dedication in honor or memory of someone.

  • Listed as a “Legacy Supporter” in the Annual Report.

  • Social media shoutout

  • Webpage feature.

  • One-time Weekly E-Newsletter (~5K reach) feature.

✍️ Leave Your Mark

Optional: When donating, you can suggest up to 5 specific books, up to 5 Launchpads, or up to 5 shelf sections from our existing collection for your dedication in the comments field. While we will do our best to match your request, we cannot guarantee exact placement. You should leave the comments field blank if you have no preference for items adopted. All dedications will be honored for the lifetime of the item in circulation (books and Launchpads), or 5 years for shelf sponsorships.

Optional: You can dedicate your donation in honor or memory of someone special; if not, the default bookplate copy is "Adopted by [Donor Name]".
