Students in the Children’s Division are eligible for classes in the level that they finished for the school year. Like an academic school, the dancers will stay in their level until the fall when they advance to the next level. For example, if your dancer was in Pre-Ballet 3 for the year, they will stay in Pre-Ballet 3 for the summer, and attend Pre-Ballet 4 in the fall.

A Children’s Division Sunday workshop consists of a shortened ballet class that is always geared to include a variety of ages. Storytime is incorporated because there is usually a book that relates to the theme of the workshop. A craft or a coloring page give the students a moment to elaborate on the theme. The workshop culminates with the families coming in for the last few minutes to view the dance that students learned that day. The goal is for your young dancer to experience the joy of dancing along with the additional fun activities to enhance the learning encounter.
Angelina Ballerina: June 16, 18, 20 (M, W, F) from 10-11:15 a.m.
This workshop will feature a different story from the Angelina Ballerina series each day. A ballet class will be included everyday as well as a craft. The workshop will end with a short demonstration during the last class.
Fairies in Ballet: August 18-21 (M, T, W, Th) from 10-11:15 a.m.
