Pitkin County mass notification system updates citizens with real time information about ongoing incidents. 

Pitkin Alert allows users to receive free alerts via text message, email, voice or pager.

You can sign up to receive these and additional alerts on the Pitkin Alert website:

• Business Crime Information

• Community Events

• Press Releases

• Urgent information

• Visitor / Resident Information

Pitkin Alerts are available through the ReachWell App!

ReachWell is a partner application to Pitkin Alert. 

However, there is not registration process AND translates messages into 190+ languages. 

Unlike Pitkin Alert where alerts can be filtered, ReachWell transmits every alert generated in Pitkin Alert. 

ReachWell is used by Carbondale Fire, Eagle, Garfield and Gunnison Counties as well. 

Simply  click “ADD”, search by name, city or state - click add and you’re all set! 

It is easy to sign up and you can begin receiving notifications right away:

2. Allow notifications

3. Add Pitkin County Alerts

4. Select your preferred language
