Eugene Krabs

Baritone. Singing Lead. A father who is doing his best. Owner and manager of the Krusty Krab. His main love is- money.

Patrick Star

Tenor. Singing Lead. Best friend of SpongeBob, Plankton may not be the brightest scale in the sea but he has lots of ideas. Patrick wishes that people would see that and listen to him.

Sandy Cheeks

Mezzo/Alto. Singing Lead. A Texas squirrel interested in martial arts and science. Friend of SpongeBob and Patrick, brilliantly smart.

Sheldon J. Plankton

Tenor/Rap. Singing Lead. Sheldon is the owner of the Chum Bucket. An evil genius who will do whatever it takes to best his archenemy Mr. Krabs. 

SpongeBob SquarePants

Tenor. Singing Lead. SpongeBob is the Joyful heart of this production. A part that requires a lot of physical effort and musicality.  

Squidward Q. Tentacles

Tenor. Singing Lead. A depressed octopus. He lives between SpongeBob and Patrick and works at the Krusty Krab. He dreams of being hailed for his talent, but cannot silence the voice inside him that calls him a loser.

Gary (the snail)

A puppet. Voiced by a member of the ensemble. SpongeBob’s beloved pet.

Karen the Computer

Soprano, Alto- The programmed “Computer Wife” of Plankton. She has grown tired of his constant failure. 

Larry the Lobster

Bikini Bottom Citizen. Quite buff/swole. Larry is a rival of SpongeBob’s. 

Mrs. Puff

Bikini Bottom Citizen. SpongeBob’s Driving instructor. Mrs. Puff is constantly tired and overwhelmed.

Old Man Jenkins

Bikini Bottom Citizen. A grumpy old timer. Gives in to the worst impulses of the elderly.

Patchy the Pirate

Baritone. Singing Lead. SpongeBob’s #1 fan. He has traveled far to be here and see this amazing show.

Pearl Krabs

Mezzo. Singing Lead. Mr. Krabs’ whale daughter. She wishes to be heard and loves the band “The Electric Skates” almost as much as her dad loves money.

Perch Perkins

Bass. Singing Lead. Bikini Bottom Citizen. The anchor fish of the local news program. 

The French Narrator

A faceless voice that speaks and narrates the story for the audience. Sounds like Jacques Cousteau.

The Mayor of Bikini Bottom

Bikini Bottom Citizen. The political leader of Bikini Bottom.

The Foley Artist Fish

A staged role. The Foley Artist produces all the scripted sounds of the play with sound boards, instruments, and other items.

Hip Hop Dancers

Dances during the song “When the Going Gets Tough”.

Sardines

The Followers of a group that tries to elevate Patrick into a religious symbol and savior. 

Security Guards

Bit Part. Responsible for guarding the show and keeping people like Patchy out.

Teen Fans

Bit Part. Super-Fans of the “Electric Skates

3 Electric Skates

Rock and Roll. Singing Leads. One of the most popular undersea rock bands. Not terribly nice in person. Skateboarding, rollerblading/skating, heely tricks.

Various Ensemble Fish Including-

A Fish, Another Fish,  A Krabby Patty Fish, Cowboy Fishes, Girl Fish Trio, Johnny the Bartender, Buster BlueTang, and Mob Fish. Sardines, Pirates, Sea Anemones, Fish, Sponge Chorus, and More.
