We are so excited to have you come out to be a part of our musical! To be cast in the show you need to audition. To audition, you must complete the following steps:
Students interested in being an actor in our production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella- Enchanted Edition must follow the following steps-
1- Sign up for an audition slot. The audition signup is online HERE. DATES FOR THE AUDITIONS- Thurs. 9/14 and Fri. 9/16.
2- Print out and fill out the audition checklist WITH A PARENT/GUARDIAN.
3- Pick an upbeat song. The song you choose should be 16 (or so) bars or measures long. This makes it approximately 30 seconds. I will not be counting beats, but please do not try and sing an entire song, just 16 measures. You may choose any song you are comfortable singing, but I will be looking for a song that has a character and a story. The main thing I am looking for outside of singing ability is someone's ability to act a character while also singing. Choosing a song from a musical is recommended, but do NOT sing a song from R+ H Cinderella.
4- You can grab a set of SIDES [short one page scenes from our musical] for the musical. Sides are not expected to be memorized, but you should be familiar with them.
5- Audition and do your best! You will be great!
