5th Grade Math builds a strong foundation in mathematical concepts and numerical problem-solving skills. Students will explore advanced operations, whole whole and part numbers, develop an understanding of geometrical concepts, and strengthen their ability to reason mathematically. We will use measurements & data, algebraic thinking, and order of operations.
5th Grade English Language Arts focuses on developing strong reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. Students will read a variety of texts, learn to think critically, and express their ideas clearly in written and spoken form. Our curriculum encourages exposure to a wide rang of literature and the confidence to communicate effectively. We will analyze different aspects of texts, analyze the text as a whole, and compare different texts as well as explore text in different forms.
