Little Women Summary:
Little Women is a novel by Louisa May Alcott that tells the story of the four March sisters—Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy—growing up in New England during the Civil War, focusing on their individual journeys from girlhood to womanhood as they navigate poverty, personal ambitions, societal expectations, and love, guided by their mother, Marmee, and their wealthy neighbor, Laurie.
Through our Little Women novel unit, we will be using, and explaining how an author uses, evidence to support main idea, comparing multiple perspectives of the same event, and combining information from multiple sources to grow our understanding of the subject.
