Hello! My name is Jennifer Armstrong, and I am so excited to be your student's teacher. I graduated from Gardner-Webb University in December of 2024 with a bachelor's in English and a teaching licensure in secondary education. I student taught at Crest High School and have been teaching 5th grade here since January of 2025. I focus on creating a positive classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, challenged, and are excited to learn and grow.

In my classroom, I focus on students' perseverance, responsibility, and independence. 5th grade is a big year that can come with a lot of changes as students are preparing to move into the world of middle school and beyond. I want to make sure they are ready.

Outside the classroom, I love spending my time reading, painting, going to hockey games, playing with my niece and nephew, and anything that gets me outside.
