Project Description: For this project, we were tasked to decode 5 clues to find where Ms. Trans cow was hiding. We used a Caeser Cypher code we wrote in previous classes to decode the clues. The first team to get to the place where the cow was hiding and solve all the clues would get the prize. We came fourth right after Alex and Scarletts team.
Procedure: For this project, I used my code that we completed in class to breeze through clues 1-4. My code would get all combinations for the non-key caeser cypher code and I could find the correct one. For the 5th clue, it was a lot harder. In clue four, there was a hint which Leila figured out that the first 6 numbers were 650806. I assumed that it was only 10 digits as we mainly worked on 10 digit keys in class. After thinking for a lot, I came to the conclusion that the last four digits were 9278. The final clue we had to decipher was: Zme cuf swbjs cgwfpmy aa sdeo gx goa fv. So otn zbuqe iz. Pb batkkm aw Rs. Yjpjpke’a uohpkk tw mnv pox nabxtpbk svait. After testing out 650806, I saw that the first 2 words were "The cow, and the next ones were very similar in spelling to "loves candy." After testing out a lot, I saw the difference between "l" and "s" were 9 digits, "e" and "j" were 7 digits appart, I guessed and checked for the rest and around my 20th try, I got it correct. After that, I emailed Ms. Tran the answer and completed the project.
Clues:
1.Ms. Tran found an open gate. She is panicking because her cow has gone missing!
2.Raul said he saw the cow hanging out with JH kids in the Cue Quad eating mint candy.
3.Ms. Tran recalls seeing Ms. King and Ms. Sanchez eating the same mint candy.
4.Someone found a candy wrapper with “Call me” written next to a number: 650806….
5.The cow loves candies as much as you do. No one stole it. It walked to Ms. Sanchez’s office to get his favorite snack.

Reflections:
S: My strengths in my opinion was my speed in solving clues 1-4 and my way to solve clue 5, but I could've been faster if I thought of it before as we were looking at the phone numbers of the staff to see if any of them match.
O: My opportunities I could've taken were being more speedy on the letter guess and check because the 20 attempts took around 2 minutes, which could've made us solve it faster.
U: My understanding for this project was pretty strong as I knew how to solve it using the code that Ms. Tran went over briefly, and before the hunt started, I quickly commented out the key code for the other one to solve it faster.
L: My limitations were on the final clue as I took very long to try and decipher it using a key I create instead of trying to find it in a clue.
WISCR:
Well Rounded: I feel like I was well rounded as I could solve and fix the all of the problems effeciently and I didn't really have a weak spot where I was stuck.
Clear Communicator: I am a clear communicator as Leila and I communicated if we had an idea on the project, and we made sure to communicate if we needed something.
