Description: After learning the basics of coding + using a microbit, Olivia, Andrew, and I collaborated together to build a skittle dispenser that will dispense 5-10 skittles every turn and follows a rubric.
Brainstorm: In the beginning we were taking inspiration from other previous skittle dispensers. As we got an idea of how it works, we began planning. We wanted the skittles to smoothly flow and drop down into a separate compartment. We knew we needed a rotating circle with a cut in the middle top to catch the skittles.

Procedure: First, we brainstormed our ideas and then put them onto TinkerCad. After some remodling and touch-ups, we 3Dprinted and laser cutted our final protoype. Next, we took the printed pieces and assembled using glue to create the base + box. Finally, we added in the different mechanisms securing them in place and coded the servo to dispense the skittles.

S- My team was quickly able to come up with an idea to begin with and the whole process was very efficient.
O- Every teammate knew what was done and what needed work on. Our box was printed successfully on its first try.
U- I learned that I should have accurately plan out the dimensions of our box and how it was to be assembled.
L- The glueing process was very tedious. As we were adding on our final pices of wood, I noticed the so-far assembed box was crooked, but it was no longer fixable. I hope next time we don't make the same mistake because our other pieces couldn't fit which led to other chaos.
WISCR: During this project, my team mainly displayed the W, well-rounded. As we rendered through problems, our team was well organized. Each person had a task that was assigned. The process went well and smooth.
