Project Description : In this Project, our CS9 class used scratch to create an " a bit about me" adventure. This includes hobbies, places, and activities that we enjoy doing or visiting. I did going to the beach, Volleyball, Piano, and Hong Kong. Each of these things have a significant part to me and my identity.
This was the planning table I did beforehand.

SOUL Reflection :
Strength- The biggest strength I had in this project was creating the piano scene. I enjoyed finding the recording, and I used broadcasting to initiate the different ascpects of the journey. This is special because I applied live music to the piano section of the project. I am also very proud of the way I constructed the "volleyball or piano" choice, because it took me quite a while to figure out. However, with the help of Mr Mark, I was able to complete it without error. I believe this is significant because it shows my persision and detication to try my best, and make my project as good as possible.
Oppurtunity - An additional feature that I could have added was making myself a sprite. I feel like this would make my project more personalised and appy to me more. I also think that exploring different parts of Hong Kong would make my project more interactive and intersting. I would give a tour around my favorite places and sites in Hong Kong to share with the viewers.
Understanding : I think this project really taught me how to use scratch. Due to the creativty and freedom, I was truly able to explore every part of scratch, even if I didn't apply it to the actuak project itself. I also learned time managment, getting my project done before the deadline with a set amount of time independently taught me how to not waste time.
Limitations : A Limitation I had was leaving classes early for volleyball games. Considering my shorter work time, it forced me to rush through completing the project. In the very end. The sprites communications are rushed and slightly disorganised. Another limitation I had was my piano recording being longer than I would like it to be. I feel like shortening the recording would keep my audience more engaged.
Peer SOUL reflections : Sophia
Strength - There is a lot of communication and talking to the user. The transitions between scenes is smooth and well made.
Opportunities - You could have added more user interaction, where the user can click on things and play with the different scenes. There is also not a ton of movement betweent the sprites, which could be improved.
Understandings - I didn't know you could play a whole song in the scene. It was very entertaining.
Learnings - If you enter a random word other than the two choices into the chat box, the scene goes nowhere and just stays in place.
Peer SOUL reflections : Alex D.
Strength - I like how you have the piano sound and the personal element of standing on the building you lived in during the hong kong scene.
Opportunities - I think you could've added more user interaction because you really only talk to the us. Also, I wish you made yourself smaller when you stood on your building to be more precise.
Understandings - I didn't know where you lived in Hong Kong before so it was cool to learn that.
Learnings - I didn't find any glitches, but after reading Sophia's SOUL reflections, I also found that if you type something other than the words given, nothing happens.
