Shopping list and poem : We learnt basic coding formatting and how to control the font size, font, bolding, Ittalic etc. I was able to turn the text different colors and adjust the background color to my liking. I was able to collaberate with my friends and read eachothers poems. We started this on khan academy and ended it in text edit.

Styling with inline CSS : students learn to write inline CSS code to style to font color, background color, font family, and font size to style the poem that they wrote earlier.

Hyperlinks: In this exercise, students learn to insert absolute and relative hyperlinks to their HTML document. In the shopping below, the title links to the Whole foods website and it is opened in a new tab.

Final site :  I met all the requirements and added absolute and relative links to my page. I was able to put my relative links through my images. I also made sure to add my other absolute link coming to and from my all about me and my more about me.

Procedure : In this project the first step was to make the code. I added fonts, background colors, images, absolute and hyper links. I also had to write different paragraphs talking about my interests and hobbies. I also explained my favorite classes and activities aswell as clubs that I am apart of. In the pictures above you may see the code in the beggining and what it came out as. 

Reflection / SOUL : 

Strength: Something that went well for me in this project was writing the paragraphs. I was able to describe myself carefully and thoughtfully at a speedy paste. This gave me the oppurtunity to work ahead, and let me move with the class even with missing a day of school. I am good at expressing my emotions and describing myself with words. This helps the audience get to know me better, which was the point of the assignment. 

Opportunities to improve my project : If I were given the opportunity, I would change the font color. This is because even though it is visable and readable, its not very aesthetically pleasing. Having an aesthetically pleasing website, gains more interest from the audience.

Understanding : In this project I have gained a better understanding on how to add images to my webpage. Humans are visual creatures, this is why it is crucial to always have pictures. For example, if i were talking about a sport not many people have heard of (like netball) images would help them understand the general idea of it a lot better. I did this by typing <img src = "school.png" alt="school" width="30%" ></a> </p>. This allows an Image to be on your website.

Limitations encountered on this project : A limitation I encountered on this project was a lesson. In the middle of this unit I was sick so unable to attend to one of the CS classes. This put me behind, luckily because I was able to finish writing my paragraphs quicly, i could catch up easily.
