Crisis: There Is No War In Ba Sing Se (ATLA)
In the midst of the one hundred year war, the Earth Kingdom's greatest city, Ba Sing Se remains unharmed and untouched. Citizens are completely unaware of the war, through the extensive use of propaganda. However, people remain suspicious of what occurs outside their walls, and it is up to the politicians within the nation to either keep the war a secret, or continue to lie about it. All delegates will play the role of leaders within the Earth Kingdom, attempting to mask the truth about the 100 year war.
This committee will be led by Co-Directors and Chairs, Sofia Zuniga and Andrea Fonseca.
Specialized: The Second Constitutional Convention
This year marks the 250th Anniversary of the United States of America. The Constitutional Convention, taking place from May to September of 1787, helped create the foundational document of rules that our country still uses today. Within this committee, delegates will be influential political leaders attempting to make important reforms to the US Constitution. On the same day, May 25th, these leaders will gather in Philidelphia to once again fight for what should stay, be removed, or be added to the Constitution. What will you fight for?
This committee will be led by Co-Directors and Chairs, Isabella Diaz and Alexa Pla.
