If you are interested in the AMC 10 or 12 Exam please let your GATE teacher, Mr. Caric, or Dr. Switala know as soon as possible! Seats fill up fast and we have only 20 for each test.

The AMC Examination allows for you to test your creative math solving skills at the national level against other Exam takers. Your scores are also an additional piece of data you can add to your college resume! If you are someone interested in a career in Math or Science, the Exam will help you understand the creative and different ways Math can be applied. Additionally, if you took the Exam last year, you can compare your scores and check your improvement! 

Finally, if you do well, you will be invited to participate in the next round of AMC Testing with opportunities for national awards and scholarships.

To increase awareness of women’s ongoing contributions to the mathematical sciences, the Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM) and Math for America  co-sponsor an essay contest for biographies of contemporary women mathematicians and statisticians in academic, industrial, and government careers. The essays will be based primarily on an interview with a woman currently working in or retired from a mathematical sciences career. Participation is open to middle school, high school, and undergraduate students. Click here for more information and to submit your essay!
