The guys staff stay in either staff cabins (program staff and work crew) or in cabins with campers (counselors). Things can get super crowded in the cabins, so it's important to remember that less is more!
As far as bedding you will need:
Twin sheets (with some good depth so they stay on)
Pillow and blanket (recommended) or Sleeping Bag
Mattress pad (not required but helpful)
In the bathroom (college community style bathrooms), there are small shelves to keep a shower caddy or basket with your toiletries!
In the bunk area, there is space at the end of each bunk bed for some plastic stackable drawers. They are awesome for your everyday clothes (socks, shorts, shirts). You can get them at Walmart and it’s a great way to store and organize your clothes. You can keep other clothes in a suitcase or trunk if you’d like as well but the plastic stackable drawers If you’re driving to camp you can even pack for the summer in the drawers. If you are flying, you can always purchase some drawers from Walmart once you get to Columbus.
The must haves are two pairs of khaki shorts, a brown or black belt, and tennis shoes. We will wear this every Opening and Closing day with a t-shirt that Pine Cove provides.
For every other day of the week you can wear shorts and t-shirts.

Lastly, don’t forget theme night clothes. We go all out!! Make sure to check the Pine Cove Theme Night Page to get some inspiration. Don't feel like you have to spend We've had good luck finding costumes at Goodwill.
Reminder, we do not allow cut out shirts - gotta have those pits covered!! We allow jerseys, but make sure to throw on a shirt over it if you are serving food!
