2023-2024: 

Monday, December 11th at 7:00 pm at JCB Auditorium. 

-5th Grade band students will report to the JCB Cafeteria at 6:30pm. They will be able to leave there instrument cases right in the cafeteria during the performance. They will need their instruments as well as their charged chromebooks.

-Students who are both in band and chorus will need to check in with Ms. Wilson in the chorus room for attendance purposes before coming to the cafeteria.

-The order of performing groups will be: 5th Grade Band, 5/6 Boomwhacker club, 5th/6th Grade Chorus, 6th Grade Band.

-Please plan on meeting your child in the cafeteria after the performance, and not in the hallway (the hallway outside of the auditorium gets incredibly congested.)

-Students will get their orange EJD Music Department t-shirts next week. They will need to wear those along with long black pants or a long skirt and black shoes. If you need help with any of these items, the music department has a closet of clothing items to borrow. Please let me know before the day of the concert if you would like me to find something for your student to borrow. I will not have time to address these needs the day of the concert.

-The concert should run around 1 hour. Please stay to support all of the performing ensembles. It builds good citizenship, unity, and comradery among the students to support one another. It's also a great experience for the beginning instrumentalist to hear an older band. They get very excited to hear how far they can progress with a year's worth of experience.

   Tuesday, June 11th at 7:00 pm at JCB Auditorium. 

Students should report to the middle school band room at 6:30 PM.  EJD Music Department t-shirts and long black bottom. Scroll down toward the bottom of the page for more details on what to wear.
