Hi everyone! My name is Kate Severino. I'm thrilled and honored to partner with you as your child's Social Emotional Learning teacher this year. This is my third year at PAS and  my 11th year serving as an educator in Philadelphia. I have a MSEd in Elementary Education, certified in Special Education and have worked in various capacities with students of all ages, but most recently in second grade here at PAS :)

I believe that our students (and every human being!) can only be successful in their work lives if they are first taken care of mind, body, and spirit. My mission is to provide a safe, brave, and joyful space for students to learn how to take care of themselves, others, and their community.
