Middle Schoolers must navigate not only academic pressures like high school admissions but social pressures like maintaining friendships, social media use, and discovering their authentic identities. The SEL classroom will be a space dedicated to handling these challenges together. 

We are excited to partner with the incredible Mazzoni Center, a local health center that will offer our students comprehensive, inclusive, and consent-based sexual health education.

7th and 8th graders will each spend half the year in SEL, and half the year meeting with our amazing school counselor Mrs. Knight to assist with high school admissions and academic planning.

6th graders will dive into several units of study throughout the year, including Social Media/Staying Safe Online, Our Many Identities, Managing Stress, and more.
