Tier 1 Programs in Grades 6-8
Tier 1 Programs in Grades 6-8
Tier 1 program guidance is for schools where students are new to the language. That is, a student in a Tier 1 middle school program would start taking language classes in 6th grade.
Tier 2 guidance is for classes in a well-established program that runs from Kindergarten through 8th grade. A student in a Tier 2 middle school program would have already had some experience with the Target Language from ~6 years of language classes.
