What is a Watershed
Watershed refers to an area of land where all the water drains to a central point, such as lake, river or stream. A watershed refers to an area of land that comprises a set of streams or rivers that drain into a larger water body like an ocean or a river. Every area on Earth is part of a watershed.
WaterCycle
The cycle of processes by which water circulates between the earth's oceans, atmosphere, and land, involving precipitation as rain and snow, drainage in streams and rivers, and return to the atmosphere by evaporation and transpiration.
